1981 NATIONAL PICTURE & FRAME Co. 21 X 29 PRINT GENERAL LEE Dukes of Hazzard

  
Here is a great Vintage ORIGINAL huge 21" x 29" (With Frame = 23 1/4" X 31 1/4") Framed Lithographed Print produced by NATIONAL PICTURE and FRAME Company. It is an amazing image of the " GENERAL LEE " 1969 Dodge Charger from the popular TV series from 1981 " DUKES of HAZZARD " in it's favorite position " AIRBORNE". This same image was produced as a smaller poster at the time but this is NOT a poster. I think it was lithographed somehow but appears to be applied to a textured piece of cardboard that has "faux" paint stroke textures. I had trouble getting any precise images due to glare but the colors are deep with no fading.

Image does have a couple of light scratched areas, (one large scratch near left bumper guard area / light scratched area near rear-view mirror) shown in close-ups. Also cardboard oddly does not exactly meet the top of frame with a slight gap.

Looks like a manufacturing flaw , cardboard was about 1/4 too short. The quality is not "Art Gallery" obviously produced for a young fans bedroom wall when new. It is now a very rare piece, the only one I have ever seen.

I guarantee it to be original in original frame. I have personally owned it since the 1980s when I acquired it used. Luckily it has it's ORIGINAL LABEL MARKED AS FOLLOWS : NATIONAL PICTURE & FRAME Co. 8PK - DUKES - 21 X 29 BOX 1910 GREENWOOD MS (Mississippi) 38930. I have no other knowledge about this item so please ask questions and check pictures closely!!
