Listing is for a Ertl, 1:18 scale, die cast, General Lee of The Dukes of Hazzard. Made in 2002 under Ertl's "American Muscle" brand, this is a limited edition'chase car' dubbed as the "Race Day" General Lee.
See the blog post below for reference and explanation of this particular version of The General but to my eyes, this car is in immaculate condition without a scratch on it. I've taken as many high res photos as I can for you to examine in thoroughly and as I was taking them, I was remarking about the detail and quality that Ertl put into this line - truly beautiful. Feel free to send along any questions.
I'll repost some info from a very good blog on the topic of Ertl's 1:18 scale General Lee cars for a full explanation about the odd appearance of this collectible. The next chase car is an odd one. Commonly referred to as the "Race Day General Lee, " this car is a General Lee without a completed paint job. The most prominent incomplete item is the 0 of the 01 isn't painted.
Because this came out as a chase car, and not a release on its own, at first people thought it was a production mistake. I don't really know where the Race Day name came from. It is not episode specific; we never saw the Gen'ral like this on the show.
I imagine someone at Ertl designed it and gave it the name. The box does mention that it's a limited edition.
