Vintage ERTL 1/18 Double Zero 00 1968 Mustang GT Dukes of Hazzard Diecast

  

This is a first generation ERTL 1/18 scale Double Zero 1968 Mustang GT from the Dukes of Hazzard Reunion movie. This first release had the correct hood (later versions use the incorrect cobra jet hood) and is in the confederate flag box. There is also a 1:64 scale version of the car still sealed to the inner cardboard. I bought this new in 2001 and have since decided to downsize my collection.

The car has only been out of the box for these photos and to remove the original plastic to secure the hood and doors when I first bought it. The hood and doors open, but the trunk does not. Please review all photos carefully to determine value and condition for yourself. FLAWS - This model has some minor paint rash for a 23+ year old model - mostly in the flames on the hood (photos 18, 19). The painted flames also were not perfectly applied by modern standards (photos 18-21) and there are a couple chips on the driver's rear wheel arch (photo 22). The box has minor shelf wear and a few small kinks in the plastic window (photo 23). The back of the box also has some sun fading (photo 15). The box will also be filled with foam pellets to prevent the doors from opening (photo 24).
